Job Description:
VisaNurse, in collaboration with our client, is seeking highly qualified Canadian Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit in the United States. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced healthcare team and provide compassionate care to residents in need.
As a member of the nursing, your role will involve providing administrative coverage and support for clinical and managerial processes. In the absence of a department head or administrator, you will assume responsibility for all departments.
This role is full-time with 36 hours per week, working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. You will be an essential part of the care team in this long-term care setting.
TN Visa Requirements:
- Nursing Degree
- NCLEX-RN Exam
- Canadian Citizenship and Valid Passport
- English Language Proficiency Exam (If Applicable)
- Active Canadian or US RN License
Client Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting (any country)
- CPR competency required; ACLS preferred
- Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Must meet the general health requirements set by facility policies
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including the elderly, ill, disabled, and emotionally challenged individuals
Salary Range:
💰 $50,500 – $71,000 annually + differentials for night or weekend shifts
Wage will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements.

Weekend/Holiday Requirement:
Weekend and/or Holiday scheduling required
